Hello You!

Hello You - Love YouToday I’m sharing a card I’ve made using some of the fantastic new products in the Occasions Catalogue. The Hello You thinlit dies for the Big Shot are a set of four delicate words which could work perfectly by themselves, but when combined with the Crazy About You stamp set, allow you to create just about any message you could think of! And if you buy the stamp set and the thinlits dies together you save 15%.

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, I’ve gone for a love theme on my cards, using the Sweetheart punch and the small love heart stamps from the Pictogram Punches stamp set. The LOVE in Memento Black is from the Crazy About You stamp set and you is from the Hello You thinlit dies set.

The large love heart has been punched from Confetti Celebrations DSP and adhered using Dimensionals. The ink and cardstock colours have been chosen to match those in the DSP: Bermuda Bay, Strawberry Slush and Tangelo Twist.

To finish the cards off I’ve used the Essentials Paper Piercing Pack to pierce opposite corners of the card. I felt this just framed the card a little better.

I made a heap of these cards and gave them out as swaps at the Brisbane Party Time event at the end of January. It was my first Stampin’ Up! event and it was great!

There were so many cards on display that others had made and the presentations by the demonstrators, including my upline Ann, were all fantastic. We got to make three projects during the day and had presentations on Blendabilities, the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies and more.

I’ve got a class coming up next weekend and have prepared a couple of great cards so come back soon to see those!
